JOB DESCRIPTION
The Branch Manager leads the employees who are directly responsible for operating the $16 million dollar in revenue branch. The manager is responsible for generating new accounts as well as maintaining and building existing accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Operations process development and execution with focus on continuous improvement
• Serving as the principle contact and primary negotiator for the branch in matters regarding operations
• Identifying new business opportunities with existing as well as new accounts and successfully obtain and implement those opportunities
• Developing and maintain positive relationships internally across all departments and functional areas, as well as externally with customers and key suppliers
• Interviewing, assessing, and selecting job candidates for positions as required
• Measuring performance of branch employees with emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and service delivery
• Coaching, mentoring, training, and developing staff with focus on individual, branch, and company goal attainment while at the same time working to increase the bench strength of the company
• Directly managing a staff of 7 employees
• Maintaining maximum operational efficiency for the branch by incorporating continuous improvement into every department

  Requirements:
  Bachelor’s degree in Transportation/Logistics or Business Administration or related field,
• 3PL background specifically in truck and intermodal required
• Training and experience in supervision and leadership, with understanding of performance management
• Must have knowledge/experience in transportation economics, customer management and service, and possess a process management orientation.
