Retailers Find Value in NASSTRAC Conference in April

Specific educational focus and networking opportunities attract specialty retailers to this event

(Minneapolis) - Due to a special focus on attracting specialty retailers, these types of attendees are already registering for the 2010 NASSTRAC Logistics Conference & Expo, which will take place April 25-28 at the Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, Fla. Retailers already registered include industry leaders such as Advance Stores Co., Best Buy Co., Casio, and CVS/Caremark to HD Supply and Tiffany & Co.

This year’s keynote will be Colonel Randall Larsen, U.S. Air Force (retired), who is one of the most highly respected individuals on transportation security. He is also the executive director of the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism. Other sessions include panel discussions with executives focused on trucking, multi-modal supply chains, globalization, and Wall Street’s impact on transportation. The conference also features an expo of service providers where transportation and supply chain decision-makers can find solutions.

"Supply chain security, best practices in transportation and supply chain management, and executive perspectives with carriers are just a few of the reasons why retailers are finding this year's conference to be particularly relevant," said Brian Everett, NASSTRAC's executive director. "This year's event will provide the transportation and supply chain decision-maker with retailers the education and networking opportunities that they cannot find at any other venue."
