"Bringing Peace of mind Since 1916"

Auburn, WA. (August 8, 2012) - Oak Harbor Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, was honored with Logistics Management's 2012 Quest for Quality Award in the Highly competitive West Regional LTL category. Oak Harbor has earned this prestigious award seven of the last nine years.

"We are extremely proud and happy that our team was once again recognized as best of the best in our industry from the shipping public in the highly touted Quest for Quality Award," said David Vander Pol, Co-President for Oak Harbor Freight Lines. "As we celebrate our ninety sixth (96th) year of service to the shipping public this year, we look forward to celebrating our one hundredth (100th) anniversary in 2016.”

Logistics Management's Quest for Quality is the most extensive market research study conducted in the logistics industry. Each year this research evaluates and measures transportation service providers, determines relevant criteria when customers select a provider and examines performance measurements to meet customer expectations. Attributes evaluated include performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations.

"Our desire to bring our customers peace of mind in a often tumultuous industry is what drives us to be the best in every aspect of the LTL freight game. This award is a message that the shipping community recognizes and values our efforts." Larry Felix, District Manager - Southern Californian and Southern Nevada.
